Recently Vauxhall have released a new advert for their more economical Astra. It’s a clear cut and paste with a few alterations of the original Diet Coke advert from the 90’s. Another reference of note is that Diet Coke is also known as Coke Light in some markets.

Coca-Cola have been experimenting with this idea for a while and it’s main target is the female audience and that would also be whom Vauxhall appear to be targetting.
